The ARES conference for the first time this year is featuring a program app allowing participants to carry the program on their phone (IOS & Android device) rather than having the typical booklet. You can download the app on your smart phone by going to: https://my.yapp.us/ARES18 or by going to your app store downloading yapp. After downloading it select “Download an Existing Yapp” and in the yapp id enter ares18 and go. Now you have the ARES conference app.
The app allows you to:
Explore in advance the education and general panels based on a short overview provided by the chairs
Create your favorites (select program, the session/panel/event of your preference and scroll to the bottom of the page and select the gray button “Add event to my schedule”)
Find the contact info and sessions various participants are presenting (all co-authors are included as participants and a number of them might not be present at the conference beyond the contact authors)
Review the manuscripts submitted in each session (Hyperlinks to all submitted papers are available under their title. The message “Error 404 – Not Found” appears when the authors have only uploaded an abstract and not a paper on the ARES website)
Know the location of the various sessions/panels/events by reviewing the hotel floorplan

Non-English Language Sessions
Improving the global interaction among real estate professionals helps us explain better market dynamics and at the 34th ARES annual meeting we are making efforts to host for the first-time sessions in Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese, beyond English. As program chair I have requested the help of three prominent ARES/AsRES, ERES and LARES members to promote these sessions as well as the conference through their networks:
The conference hotel is the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, and the amenities it offers will make you want to stay far beyond the conference. The hotel accommodations are world class offering a full service resort experience, significant in house amenities and coordination for transportation to local area attractions. Among some key resort attractions are the championship 18-hole golf course, multiple pool complex with lazy rivers as well as slides and a private beach (15min boat ride from the hotel) open to hotel guests located adjacent to the world famous Lovers Key State Park.
The ARES room rates are an amazing deal for this type of resort. You can reserve a room by clicking here. If rooms are not available please reach out to the ARES meeting planner – Bennie Waller for alternative area accommodations.
