JOB INFO

Welcome to the ARES jobs homepage. This page can help you post an academic real estate or upper-level real estate research practitioner position, or search for one.  The sections below also provide resumes and curriculum vita of academic job seekers, and a link to student real estate jobs. In addition to posting jobs on this website, ARES has two newsletters a year (September and March), which contain links to the new positions on ARES jobs website as well as CVs/resumes to qualified candidates.

Academic and Non-Academic Real Estate Job Announcements

ARES is pleased to provide its members with information on both academic and industry position openings. You can view descriptions of real estate related job announcements by clicking on the “View Academic & Practitioner Jobs" button. If you want to post an academic or practitioner job on this ARES jobs website, contact Vice Chair Jesse Saginor at jsaginor@archmail.tamu.edu. Non-ARES members may also post jobs on this website, and a donation to ARES is requested for this service.

ARES Job Seekers

This ARES jobs website has recently added resources and tools to help candidates who are seeking employment in both academic and industry positions. For example, the career website now contains information along with a template about how to design a resume; information and a template for designing a curriculum vitae (CV); information and questions candidates can review to prepare for a job interview; worksheets to help candidates evaluate each new position under consideration, and information on mentoring and Networking Techniques at Conferences. ARES jobs website will continue to add new resources for applicants, and we welcome your comments.

This ARES jobs website is now posting resumes of job seekers. ARES invites Ph.D.s, Ph.D. students, and other real estate research-oriented job seekers with at least a master’s degree and ten years experience in real estate analysis and research to post their qualifications on this ARES jobs website. Applicants are asked to limit their materials to four pages of materials (see above links for suggested components). The materials will be posted free of charge to ARES members and student members. The listings will remain on the site from the date received until June 1of the following year.  ARES members seeking to post their resume or CV should email this information in an MS word file and include in the subject heading of your email “Post to ARES job web site” to ARES Career Placement committee Chair, Dr. Margot Weinstein at drmargot@drmargotweinstein.com
