The Executive Committee of the American Real Estate Society (ARES) is very pleased to announce that Leonard Zumpano of the University of Alabama has been selected to serve as Editor of the Journal of Housing Research (JHR). Shelton Weeks of Florida Gulf Coast University has been selected to serve as Managing Editor. They bring substantial experience and enthusiasm to their respective positions.
The assumption of ownership of the JHR by ARES represents another significant step forward for our membership. Our new editorial team is very excited about the opportunity to bring this well-established journal into the family of ARES publications. Both editors will be attending the 2005 ARES Annual Meeting in Santa Fe and look forward to talking with you about ways that you can lend your support to JHR. They have committed to making JHR an outlet for your research that upholds the high standards set by other ARES publications.
